Reiki

Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit.
Learn More
Reiki is an ancient Japanese energy healing technique now commonly used for stress reduction and relaxation. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through every being. The word Reiki is composed of two Japanese words - “Rei”, which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and “Ki” which is "life force energy". Therefore, Reiki is regarded as "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit.
Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady, and it also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Although Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to reap the benefits of this healing energy work.

Thai Yoga Bodywork
In Person
Thai Yoga Bodywork helps improve flexibility, increases circulation, and aids in spiritual and physical balance.
Learn More
Thai Yoga Bodywork, also known as "Assisted Yoga" is a form of bodywork that combines dynamic assisted stretching influenced by Yoga, and physical pressure (compression) along energy (meridian) lines influenced by Chinese acupuncture (from Traditional Chinese Medicine or “TCM”) as well as Ayurveda, Yoga’s “sister science”.
Thai Yoga Bodywork helps improve flexibility, increases circulation, and aids in balancing the recipient’s flow of energy. Performed with the client fully clothed, the body is supported, stretched and kneaded…all YOU need to do is lay on the comfortable Thai floor mat in loose, comfortable clothes! (Unlike a Swedish massage, oil is not used and wearing loose, comfortable clothing is strongly recommended).
The practitioner will use her hands (palms), thumbs, elbows, heels, and knees to stretch, compress, and rock different parts of your body.

Couples Yoga: Communicate, Re-Connect, & Grow
This is simply a combined effort to reconnect on a physical level in a new, meaningful way to nurture the relationship.
Learn More
These sessions begin with a baseline dialogue check in with the provider regarding safe boundaries and language/communication (i.e., invitational and accepting language instead of harsh, demanding, or judgmental words and phrases). Before the practice begins, time will be set aside to welcome input from the clients regarding how they would like to be guided through their shared experience.
The provider will then invite the couple to find a resting posture that is comfortable and accessible for them. They are then guided through present moment body and breath awareness, heart centering, and (mostly seated) accessible partnered yoga postures.
If clients are inclined to welcome non-sexual “safe touch” in a neutral environment, the provider will guide them through Yoga Thai bodywork they can learn to offer one another as a way to begin to re-connect physically without any sexually based expectations. There is no agenda or finite “end goal” -this is simply a combined effort to re-connect on a physical level in a new, meaningful way to nurture the relationship and “grow” from there without any looming timelines. The elements of “Vinyasa Krama '' or “step by step, one single step at a time” will be the guiding tone and theme during each session.
